Ken es un estudiante universitario de segundo año popular y afable que conoce a Shake, un tímido estudiante de primer año y universitario, a través de una pelea de baloncesto. Después de resolver sus malentendidos, los dos jóvenes se atraen de inmediato. Aunque los amigos cercanos de Shake y Ken apoyan su floreciente relación íntima, Sandee, el amigo de la infancia de Ken, se vuelve envidioso y le dice a su conservadora madre viuda, adelantándose a su romance amoroso. Las relaciones son tensas y la tensión aumenta en casa, Shake y Ken finalmente se separan. En un giro desconocido, el arrepentido Sandee se convierte en un puente y ayuda a reunir a Shake y Ken.
